William Marion Alford, 87, of Perryville, passed away Saturday morning, February 23, 2019. He was born June 11, 1931 in Perryville and was a lifelong tobacco and dairy farmer and was employed by Peoples and Farmers Tobacco Warehouse for 40 years.
Mr. Alford was the son of the late Mack and Beulah (Hatchell) Alford. He loved playing pool, reading, country music, flowers and classic cars.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, two daughters, Pam Wells and Connie (Roger) Louden, a son, Roger (Wanda) Alford, and a grandson, Brandon Alford.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Alice (Cocanougher) Alford, and a brother, Roy.
The funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Walden Funeral Home Perryville with Chaplain Darrell Hahn officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., until the service time.
Pallbearers will be Kelly Bugg, Dennis Thompson, Roger Louden, Bob Carrico, Tommy May, and Joey Cocanougher.
Honorary bearer will be Roy Bugg.
